Completion Consulting Services

EC-Specialists can provide the level of service required to preserve the investment.

Details

  • Project experience: Our construction managers and accountants understand the construction process from the viewpoint of the lender and contractor.

 

  • Realistic analysis: Using industry and court-accepted analytical tools, we provide timely status reports, needed to accurately identify the project drivers.  Our personnel are proficient in the use of the latest computerized scheduling techniques and have the knowledge to interpret the results.  We understand the need for accurate “cost to complete” analysis and produce realistic results based on current market conditions.

 

  • Construction management: Acting with and on behalf of our client, we develop appropriate completion strategies.  These strategies are customized to fit the project and could include contractor support, re-let packages, and sale of assets. EC-Specialists manages or oversees the process through completion.

 

  • Subcontractor management: Occasionally a contractor will default leaving subcontractors and vendors as well as the Lender in a loss position.  At these times, EC-Specialists construction accountants will determine the status of the individual subcontracts, evaluate the legitimate cost to the subcontractor, and determine the best strategy for maintaining progress through negotiation and subcontract ratification.

 

  • Documentation skills: EC-Specialists understands the need for full documentation of the process from initial review through project closeout.  We maintain this documentation in a form appropriate to the needs of the client and the project.

  • Locate and recommend a qualified, appropriate contractor
